So the font change finally impacted me, but the fix above worked to get it back to normal; thanks for that.

I have a different issue though, none of the dropdown menus work here now. For example if I click on "Your Notifications" and then click on "Unread Private Messages" nothing happens. If I try to right-click on it and "Open in new tab" all it does is re-open whatever thread I am currently in, in that new tab. Very obnoxious!

I just got that today as well - I have to go into User CP, right-click on the PM, and open in a new tab to get it to load. It's not just you! (Chrome on OSX this time)

WTF, now I have to set it to Disable to get the fonts to look correct. It's like they released another build to change the way it's worded.

Search is broken in Tapatalk so I have to use Chrome Mobile. When I do, it completely ignores me tapping Advanced Search. :( I can open in a new tab by long-pressing on search, but that doesn't work in some other forums (takes me to Google search instead).

figured I'd bump this for OSX/Linux users, they finally fixed this shit in build 39.0.2159.4 in unstable branch if people want to try it out and see.

One other item, I've had Chrome be a real hog on all of my machines (Mac, Windows, etc.) lately (v38+). Settings > Show Advanced Settings > System section > disable "use hardware acceleration when available" seems to fix it. It's especially noticeable at one of my work sites where my workstation is an old Dell; the fan will spin up like mad when using Chrome.

Initially I thought Flash was causing it, so I turned on Click-to-play for Plugins in the Chrome settings (which has helped before on older/slower machines because it doesn't auto-load Flash ads & whatnot), but disabling hardware acceleration has done the trick so far. v39 is still a hog, but at least it doesn't choke my computers as much with that feature turned off :p

Yep. Had to do the same here - watching a video on a website was drastically slowing the machine. It also pisses me off that web browsers are storing GIGABYTES in ram. I've seen mine eating up to 4, and that's both Chrome and IE. Seriously guys - it's a web browser. Can we figure out a way to give me web content without taking half my computer's memory?

Anyone having problems loading up pictures on the forum? I can't see any buttons or avatars and it is just perpetually loading.

On Mac:

1. Open a new tab and type in "chrome:flags" (without quotes) in the search bar
2. Do a Find (CTRL+F) for "Zero-copy rasterizer" (Raster threads write directly to GPU memory associated with tiles.) & Enable it
3. Close all of your Chrome browser (restart Chrome)
