You could play DS 1on1 and decapitate your buddy, and in AoR "pulling off a swinging attack on the fat man makes his heart fly out of his body and land on the floor still beating!" and other sweet fatality moves. Man did those graphics seem awesome and my system seem uberfast, you could even add the bridgeboard for PC compatability and use DOS stuff. I won't even start on how cool the video toaster was ;)

I always wanted an Amiga, but could never afford one. Did work on one for awhile(Amiga 3000) and when the boss was away played a few games or goofed around with Deluxe Paint. Sweet system, too many Guru Meditations though. ;)

I'll throw in my experience. Had a compaq 4540, AMD K6 233mhz processor. Onboard video with no 3D acceleration. I played Unreal for quite a while, wondering why I was always getting killed. Finally got pissed off and bought a Voodoo3 2000 PCI....WOW is all I could say then, and now. I have a Voodoo3 3000 PCI I picked up recently for nostalgia purposes...it was still shrink wrapped.

I for one however, have been impressed as much again with the 9700 Pro. I mean cmon....we were playing on cards that werent capable of AA/AF with decent framerates until it came along. Once I got a 9700 pro I started playing games at 1280x1024 with 4X AA and 8X AF....Ive been spoiled ever since then. Everytime I see a game running without AA/AF I cringe! The jaggies!!!

LOL, I'll tell you this, they named it appropriately, for it was indeed your girlfriend and your woman would become jealous of her ;)

The original 3Dfx Voodoo Graphics was the best video card. Heck I still have mine running today along side my GF4 Ti4600 for Glide duties. Got stacks of Glide games:)

I remember the first time I used a Voodoo1. It was late 1997 and Quake 2 was just released and it sucked in software mode on my 166+ processor. I purchased a RealVision Flash Voodoo1 and installed it and WOOOOOAHHH! Life has never been the same.

on the sapphire deal if you get 9800xt or 9600xt(when it comes out) you get HL2 and TR2 both with it for 500 or 200 for the 9600xt.
