Did the default font for Anandtech change? Or did the default font for Chrome change?

speaking of different fonts... my bank just SMS'ed me about my recent deposit, and ... it's different? The "$" symbol is no longer next to the money, now it has a circle with four points on the corners. Anyone know what symbol that is? Is there some new transition with the USD that I'm not aware of? (Part of the "great reset"?)

Maybe the font change on the forum server is part of all of this?
 
From what I have seen in the way the forum works over the years, the UI keeps changing a lot. Thus, I would not be surprised if the font has changed. I am not sure if anyone remembers, but there used to be a time in the forums when posting you could choose the font that you wanted to post with.
