Did the CIA finally succeed in setting up a govt in Somalia?

I told many people that it's not a good place for libertarians to live for the very reason that different forces were trying to set up a govt. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like now they have one.

I guess all of the good progress they have made since the overthrow of the last centralized govt is going to subside and reverse.

Still, I knew that the pro-govt forces were going to succeed. Anyway, I hope those who told libertarians to go move there issue an apology... not just to me, but to all the other people they made an ass out of themselves to as well.

Yes because it the fact that a government was/is being formed that it is a bad place to live...

I am pretty sure no one told anyone ever to go live there unless they wanted them dead.

One of the more common steps that a person of libertarian leanings (most of us, really) takes in order to live our lives a freer manner is to move out of our parents' home. Seems kind of pointless to talk about libertarianism while living under one's parents' rules.

Excellent post OP! I cant recall the amount of times people told the Libertarians to go to Somalia. Most likely it will be an Islamist government though so you can forget about your freedom.

I hope they apologize for this though but dont count on it
