I saw it twice today and noticed that instead of blue and pink, it's now blue and burgundy.

Yeah....those are just color variations based on how the images were converted & compressed. Look at the logo on a laptop for the correct color

it does appear to be different colors at times, i've found that many times the logo on the laptops themselves are the true "pink" while many times in print...ie sales ads, it appears more burgundy

Just got a brand new Pavilion dv1000 today - and the logo is blue and dark pink or cerise with white letters. Never seen burgundy, - a.k.a. maroon. :)

Brand new Dell D610, D810 and 9300 sitting in front of me. All sonoma based, definitely not the bright pink it used to be, more of a muave/maroon.

Now I got to get these things up and running and off to customers.

According to HPs site, the DV1000 is the 855 chipset with the 400 mhz fsb and not the 915 with the 533 fsb. This is why it has the old logo and not the new logo.

yeah, but i would have thought that they would have done more than just a subtle color change to signify the new chipset
