It's actually Ag + HCL = AgCL + H2.
Yeah that's because Hydrogen gas is diatomic
but with a properly balanced equation it should be.
2Ag + 2HCL --> <-- 2AgCL +H2
And I believe it may be an Equilibrium reaction (--> <--) since the changes in presures, tempertures and concentrations in HCL solution in the stomach along with other elements will throw it in and out of AgCL and Ag.
