Did SP2 fix this annoying IE bug?

I use FireFox, but once in a while I have to use IE. One of the most annoying things about it is that damn window resize bug, when hitting File -> New Window will bring up a window that is not maximized but is instead some wierd size and at some random place on the screen. Same thing occurs when you intentionally click a link that brings you to a new website by opening a new IE window.

Did SP2 take care of these things or do the still occur in IE6 ?

Hmm, if it doesn't, I might install SP2 just to fix this stupid thing. Anyone else know anything regarding this matter?

I use a freeware program called AutoSizer to fix this problem for me. I open alot of windows while browsing and found it very annoying until I got this program.

The window file size is a Windows feature, not limited to just IE. When you resize a program, hold the CTRL button. Then close the program. All future times you open the program it will be the size that you set.

The only issue is that many programs ignore this feature. All Microsoft products that I use do enable it - Office, Visual Basic, IE, etc.
