Did Southwest stop flying to Hawaii?

I have about 140k Southwest Rapid Rewards points, and I get the free companion fare seat when I book through the end of the year. I figured that my wife and I would go to Alaska, but silly me, I didn't realize that they don't fly there, so no way to do that I guess. As a backup, I figured we would fly to Hawaii.

I've tried a dozen times to put in various days for CVG to ANY of the Hawaii airports, and it always comes back that they don't have any flights. Southwest still shows Hawaii to mainland flights, but I can't seem to get any of these for this summer.

Did they actually stop flying between the mainland and Hawaii? Is there any way to see when they have these actual flights each day of the week, rather than just trying days that would be convenient for me? I/E, I'd like to see WHEN their planes go from cities on mainland each day of the week, then try one of those, rather than just guessing a day, and being told that they have no flights..... Thanks!

They still fly to Hawaii. They probably don't have any from CVG though. I just checked from BWI and they have flights, and that's on the east coast.

You may have to find a flight to LAX from CVG and then book from LAX to HI.

From where you are, I'd go to the Caribbean over Hawaii.

You need to build out your own ticket for this if they don't list a direct flight.

Go here:
Interactive Route Map | Southwest Airlines

Pick one of the Hawaii airports. All the cities in the continental US will show a solid circle if they fly nonstop, an empty circle if they fly with stops or a grey circle if they don't offer service there. You would then need to build out a multi city ticket from cvg to a city they fly to the hawaii location.

It looks like they offer flight from CVG to PHX which has nonstop flights to HNL and OGG. I didn't look that long, maybe there are better options.

Usually the reason they don't offer flights is because the times don't line up, so you will most likely be stuck in an airport overnight (might need a hotel). Caribbean is probably the better option unless you can fly out of another airport.
