Did something change in Youtube?

Even few months ago, all HD videos would load pretty damn fast. I could watch full 1080p without ever pausing.

Now it's consistently slow every time. I have to always pause and let it buffer.

The load bar used to show a red progress to show how much it's buffered. Now it's gone completely and stays white.

Is this my computer or is it same for you too? Nothing changed on my machine & ISP.

Looks like I'm not the only one. I don't think it has anything to do with clearing cookies. It has to be on Youtube's end.

Youtube is spotty for me. Some things will load fine for me while others will not.

I've noticed a 5-10 second pause on vevo videos before they start playing. Just a pause then if buffers fast and plays fine. Doesn't happen on non-vevo channels
