Theres one or two others but I still need to get pics. Currently on vacation right now but HAD to put this one up....Enjoy
Also, a story about one very VERY rare 64 Malibu that my Uncle owns will be on with the vacation pics. To give you an idea of how special....More rare then Yenko. In fact, Chevy doesnt even have the VIN number of the vehicle on file.
Yep, its a Chevy Mailbu. But Chevy didnt build it.....Or did they...
Enjoy the Olds.

3 64 Malibu's were built as test cars for the 64 racing series. 1 was for drag, 1 for track (Oval) and the 3rd is known totalled. I dont know the names of the racers, but naturally my Uncle does. Well, HIS Malibu has ended up looking to be one of those 3 test cars which Chevy built the sent out to a place called the Toy Shop I think. There find out everything the 18th. But yeah, its a super, super rare 64 Malibu. So rare its 1 of 3 original, 1 of 2 existing today.
DAMNIT! You made me tell the story early.

Check out this Impala with skirts, that was around the corner from the job I was headed to.
Exactly. he VIn *is* on file, but not with Chevy...Originally posted by: FFMCobalt
The VIN has to be kept on file. If the VIN can't be found, it doesn't exist. I ran into something similar with GMC. A gentleman had a GMC truck that was only made for a few months before GMC switched mid-year to make the truck completely different (or stop making it entirely, in other words, and call another vehicle by the same name). The VINs are on file SOMEWHERE, but it may take some digging.

Damn nice Camaro. I'd love to get myself a 1970 LS6 SS454 numbers matching Chevelle, but easier said than done. BTW, never knew you lived in Ohio also.

the car in that link is a 68 or 69 Firebird;{its easy to confuse the 2 cars,if you don't see them alot}
unusual to see it using a "Camaro" type rear spoiler.
Nice pics Ornery!
The 427's pulled harder than the stock 454's anyway. By the time the 454 was seeing serious production numbers it had been smog-strangled and the 427 never had to deal with that crap. The L-88 427 would dyno at well over 500 HP without internal modifications. I've heard of at least one case where the ZL-1 (identical to the L-88 but 100% aluminum) dynoed at over 580 HP without any internal work.Originally posted by: cavemanmoron

my Muscle Car![]()
with a 4 speed,
my car has a few rare options,it came with disc brakes,a fold down rear seat,
a console,a 4 speed, It was painted Tuxedo Black, withblack bucket seats/black interior.
It came without a radio,etc.
Official Chevrolet production records show a total of 220,906 Camaros built in 1967
133,481 V8 Coupes,
64,842 were RS optioned
45,806 had M20 4 speed Transmisson
17,993 had the Rear Folding seat
14,899 had the Front Disc brakes option
9,079 were (A-A) Tuxedo Black
2,375 had the Clutch Fan (K02)
136 had the 61 Amp Alternator
Your car also has the optional 160 Mph Speedo;
and does Not have a Radio,which was rare,as less than 20,000 were
ordered without the radio option,and many of those had a radio installed
by the local dealer.
