Did Roger Ebert have a stroke?

I'm watching Ebert and Roper at the movies and Ebert isn't moving the right side of his face... it resembles a stroke survior who has a side of their body paralized.

Anyone know?

I was wondering the same thing. B/C his lip on one side was hardly moving and I was like DAMN, WTF?

Well he is moving around his arm, so he's not paralized... but the side of his face still isn't moving.

He had surgery on some part of his throat a while back.

Yes, he had a stroke about a year ago. Surgery about 4 months ago to help repair some of the resulting damage.
