I strongly suggest you go read the rules BEFORE you either post again or try and bait another mod.

So I learned that if you make a message title with a poo poo word then you get edited, but you can say fuck all you want in the thread body! FUCK! ha! Unless some after hours mod decides to be macho and take down your freedom with magestical edit button.

Ok, I digged, and I got Happy Happy Joy Joy by Ren and Stimpy. I'm not going to lie, that show scared me and I thought it was gross when I was a kid. But I've seen as many shows as I can find on youtube and watched them again now and realized that they were pretty fucking worthless to me compared to how much they were worth to some other older person watching them that caught the injected undertones of jokerage.

My point: I bet the producers and all involved in that show just sat back and laughed at the fact that little kids were begging their parents to be allowed to watch such shit. I'd laugh, but the laugh was on me, because I was that kid. I hate kids.

Anyone else?

As a kid, you can't understand alot of the hidden jokes. It was still fun though because it was a cartoon. Like the simpsons, it was full of adult themes but the other half was pie-in-the-face type that appealed to kids. I mean it had alot of hilarious things kids understand too. Like powdered toast man who flies around with kids sitting on his butt and he sprinkles power onto a kids plate and toast magically appears.

Yea they knew little kids might watch it. It's big business, though, and they dont care who watches it. Some guy came up with the idea for the show, some other guys liked it so they gave him money to make it, and the rest is history.

It was the greatest thing on TV ( This was the Nickelodeon years, not that fucked up SpikeTV abomination ). Who could forget Powdered Toast Man? Or Space Madness? Happy Happy Joy Joy? Or LOG?!?

What rolls down stairs alone or in pairs
Rolls over your neighbor's dog?
What's great for a snack and fits on your back?
It's Log, Log, Log!

It's Log, Log, it's big, it's heavy, it's wood.
It's Log, Log, it's better than bad, it's good!
Everyone wants a log! You're gonna love it, Log!
Come on and get your log! Everyone needs a Log!

yup it always blew me away on how fucking insane that show was when growing up.
i still fondly remember the toilet warmer scene, where stimpy is afraid to sit on the icy cold shiny toilet, and he pushes the toilet warmer button and down comes this fatass hairy ugly guy who sits on it... and after the toilet is all nice and warm, but covered with lots of teh nastay slimey shit and pubes.

Any of you ever first thought the names were the other way around? I mean, ren just seems so much more fitting for a fat silly cat, while stimpy sounds so much more like a skinny, serious and grouchy character.
does anyone else feel the same synesthetic associations?
