Did one of your parents abuse the other?

My father was a complete asshole to my mother. He left when I was a pre-teen.

Long story short but she eventually kicked him out of the house after finally having enough of the abuse and him cheating on her all the time. He left in 1990 and I haven't spoken to him since.

Other than the cheating that actually reminds me a lot of my dad. Some of my first words were b*tch and sh*t from hearing him call her that all the time. One time my mom had made dinner and my dad didn't like the sauce on the spaghetti so he took the plate and threw it across the kitchen. Classy guy.

I'm sad that 35% of people so far have said yes. Too bad we can't all just be nice to each other.

Makes you wonder why woman ever get married. One in three chance the guy is a jerk.
