Did not expect this crap during my drive home today...

Was out on the production floor all afternoon unaware of the weather. Finally, got a call from a co-worker that had left about an hour earlier and he immediately had me paged so I could leave before they shut down the highway. My 27 mile commute took 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Damn Snow/Ice Mix

Nice! Were expecting some nasty weather over the weekend here in Ct but at least its only going to rain along the coast.

That road looked fine. Stay under 30 mph (50 kph?) and keep a solid following distance. That gap in the pic looks good to me.

Its a global warmings fault......did you say snow?? My bad that hardly has anything to do with heat..

Heh, Kansas eh? That road is perfectly driveable-but people in more southern states usually don't have very good tires.

27 miles took an hour and 15 minutes? Sounds like a normal everyday commute here in the SF Bay Area. If you'd added that snow it'd be five hours and 15 minutes! 😉 🙂

That' pretty bad though, especially if you're not ready for it. Good thing you got home OK.

Did you have the proper tires? Filled up or had a full tank with blankies, logs and matches, and people know where you're heading before you headed out?

Looks driveable. Two way or one way?

Wouldn't phase me in the slightest to drive on that. Been driving on roads that look like that every year since I started driving. <3 Montana.
