Question Did NewEgg Fool Me with Cheaper RAM?

I thought CAS was the last number in the series and that lower is better (faster). Here is what NewEgg advertised on their website for Corsair PN: CMH32GX5M2B5600Z36K

Is it a typo or am I just assuming the CAS latency listed as 76 should be 36 like I thought I was buying?

Thanks. Is there an easy "cliffs notes" that you've recommend on memory that explains the sequence of numbers and how important each is? Just looking for something between slightly technical and full on computer science major hardware design fidelity geek (much closer to the former).
