Did my video card die?

My kid went to start his computer and he's getting one long beep followed by three short beeps. I can't get into the BIOS because there's no signal getting to the monitor. I tried reseating the video card and resetting the CMOS. He's got an Asus A8N-E with an ATI X1800 XTX video card. BIOS = AwardBIOS.

Or your video card isn't seated right. Try taking the vid card out and reinsert in place few times.
