Did my motherboard fry?

I think my onboard Marvell controller is damaged. It shows on POST, but not in the OS now:

1. I have an Intel BadAxeII motherboard, which has both a 4 port Intel Matrix Raid controller and a 4 port Marvell Raid controller. (All 8 SATA ports are filled)

2. I was duel booting Windows XP x64 and the beta of Windows 7 x64.

3. I came home one day after a rainstorm to see my computer turned off. When I booted up, it would freeze in the middle of booting either OS. I should note that I have an APC battery backup UPC.

4. Unable to boot either OS, I installed Windows 7 x64 as a 3rd option.

5. Windows 7 no longer recognized any of my Marvell Raid SATA drives. It also would not recognize my IDE CD/DVD Rom drive, which was weird since I used it to install the OS.

6. The system would freeze/crash whenever I tried installing the Marvell drivers

7. I decided to disable the Marvell controller in the BIOS. I should note that the Marvell controller was posting on bootup, but just not working in the OS.

8. After disabling the Marvell controller in the BIOS, I can now load all 3 OS's successfully. I still cannot use my IDE CD/DVD ROM.

Is it possible that my Marvell controller and IDE controller somehow got damaged but the Intel one is fine? All my other connectors (audio, USB, etc) work fine...although I've had a problem with dual monitor setups, but that happened later.

Any ideas on what to try? I'm going to reflash the BIOS just in case, even though it says it's at the latest. After that, I'm guessing I should just get a new motherboard - preferably one with a min 8 SATA ports. (Any suggestions?)
