Did my motherboard die????

I built my computer around 5 years ago. About eight months ago it started making noise. Then when you turned it off it would turn off then you could here the power supply come back on and make noise and the fans on the computer run and it would sound awful. The only way to stop it would be to turn off the power supply itself. So we stopped using the desktop for now and just used our laptops. It has been approximately four months now and I just hooked it all back up in our new house, turned it on and no picture. When I turned it on the monitor stated that it was connected and working correctly. But as the computer booted no picture (desktop) would show up and the fan on the nvidia graphics card was not turning. So I ordered a new power supply (Aspire ATX-AS520W), graphics card (ASUS AH4650) along with a wireless network card. After installing all three new components I still have the same results with the exception of the power supply. It is quiet and turns on and off like a good power supply should. But the graphics card seems to not power up (fan come one and spin) and the new D-Link wireless card does not power up. Everything else seems to power up, motherboard power light comes on, all fans, power supply, etc. Almost forgot, I also filled the last available slot with a 1 gig stick of ram for a total of 3 gigs. I am starting to think my motherboard died. Neither graphics card work or the wireless card.

An ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Too bad you didn't check with us first. The aspire ps isn't that great, but it should get your board to post if it's still good. And I would remove the extra stick of ram. Try one or two of the original sticks; 3 sticks on a 4 dimm board sometimes causes problems. Also be sure you have the 12v 4 pin connector in place; if your new video card needs it, be sure it's connected to the ps.

Is it possible to disable the post beeps in the BIOS? If so would this troubleshooting procedure still hold true? I receive no post beeps at all.

Did your case come with a speaker wire. It's possible it didn't; you won't get any beep codes without a case speaker.
