Did my fiancee do anything wrong?

I've been in interviews with people like Diane. It's a very good way to turn people off to your company because it appears that you'd be working with robots. If the person interviewing me isn't friendly, then I don't want to work there, and likewise if I'm interviewing someone who isn't friendly then I don't want to hire them.

That is what I thought, but what do I know...i didn't take an interviewing class.

It would be valuable for her to understand what Diane is really getting at. I have a feeling that although she complained about the interview questions, something else is at the root of the issue.

For one example, maybe she happened to keep asking the questions that Diane likes to ask, which stole her thunder.

I work with a Diane and she's a colossal bitch-on-wheels, too: arrogant, ignorant, and oozing a sense of self inadequacy.

According to Diane, the “correct way” to interview people is to be as indifferent as possible during an interview and not show emotion. Diane knows because she “has given interviews before and took a class on how to interview”.

I assume your fiancee works in HR and, thus, has extensive training on HR issues, including interviewing. Assuming that, did your fiancee respond with "well, I have more than just one class under my belt, so shut your fucking cockhole!"?
