Did my DVI port just died?

So I was browsing webpages then all of sudden I noticed weired colors on fonts and pics then my screen went totally black. I then switched to VGA cable and the screen is fine, what is going on?

Reboot is all black screen on DVI port.

Try another monitor with DVI port with the same video card. This will tell you if it's the monitor DVI port or the DVI output port of the video card. Or maybe if you're lucky if could just be a cable problem.
