Hmm, that reminds me of this article earlier in the year about his $19 million in questionable home equity loans (some of the loans were approved by a bank with ties to Trump, and loan amounts were higher than the home worth...)

https://theintercept.com/2017/02/24...out-19-million-in-puzzling-real-estate-loans/

Note: in this article it states the amount owed to Russian aluminum mandate Oleg Deripaska is also $19 million:
Manafort has also been accused of misusing investor funds. In 2008, a Russian aluminum magnate named Oleg Deripaska sued Manafort in a Cayman Islands court for taking $19 million for investments and failing to explain how the money was used. For at least part of that legal dispute, Manafort could not be found.
Manafort just sounds like a shady guy with his own personal legal issues that may or may not be entirely separate from the Trump campaign/Russia saga. Sounds like Mueller may squeeze him first to see if he offers anything valuable on Trump or the campaign in order to cut a deal for himself.

So, it looks like "just another" standard practise of funneling money out of russia and into pro russian interests/agents... and in terms of manafort-ukraine it was aluminium money and manafort-trump it was gazprom money which manafort(and son?) then launders it in the realestate market.
Yea nothing to see here. Guess the point here is how much in the know Trump is on this... I mean he cant be that stupid can he? Its funny, the good old "follow the money" is true as ever and offers direct insight into the working mind of Putins foreign affairs.
Oh yea and foff with nord stream and nord stream 2... Accepting gas lines from Russia sure looks like political suicide..
