Did Ken kick @ss on jeopardy today?

if he didn't win, there'd be 15 or 20 posts entitled "KEN THE JEOPARDY GENIUS LOSES"

yesterday the other 2 players were both in the negatives 1 minute before final jeopardy

is this the dude that has the current record for wins? Is he still going?

EDIT

Was to lazy to google, however I answered my own question

Sure is. 25 or is it 26 days now. Just under $800k in winnings.

Was too lazy to look it up...........figured it was him. Wonder how many of the questions or derivatives of them he has made himself.

Jennings, who is no stranger to the world of quick quiz. He was a member of Brigham Young University's successful College Bowl team in the 1990s. Jennings also edits literature and mythology questions for the National Academic Quiz Tournament.

It's possible. If so, he won't hit a million though. Guess we'll have to find out tomorrow.

He came VERY close to going into Final Jeopardy solo, and I'm not even sure what the rules say in that situation. He had a female opponent with $0, and his male opponent was in the red but got the last question right to go into the black. I imagine they would have let him bet and play solo, but I really have no idea.

His last couple of games have been lackluster by his standards, but it's still hard to imagine him being beaten. Even when he's struggling he tends to crush his opponents. I have watched him about 8 times, and can only recall one game in which his opponent went into Final Jeopardy with a chance to win if he missed the question (because he/she had more than half Ken's total score).

*dun dun dun!*

And yeah, these shows are taped in batches months prior...if someone's talking about it online, their NDC didn't mean too much to them, apparently 😉

I thought they had a limit on the number of days in a row you could win. Used to be 5 I believe. That would suck for some of these other smart people to finally reach their dream of playing on Jeopardy only to run into the human encyclopedia.

They used to have that rule--not anymore.

He's still going and just won his 26th day. $830,000 in the bag! I remember after day 6 when I told my friends and they said, "big whoop". I'm amazed that he's made it this far.

What a man!

This guy sounds amazing! I'd watch but I live in England so no Jeopardy for me.

I agree it's a little rough for the other contestants, but I think it makes sense for the producers to let them keep playing. I know I hadn't watched Jeopardy in years, prior to his run, but now I watch every night. At least being spanked by the masterful Ken would make for a memorable story, and the 2nd and 3rd place finishers still get $2K and $1K, respectively.
