Did Intel make a FCPGA 1Ghz PIII w/100 FSB

I was wondering if intel released a 1 Ghz Pentium III with a 100Mhz FSB in a FCPGA package. I have an ASUS CUBX that I am looking to upgrade to a 1Ghz, but since I can only plug in an FCPGA part, I need to know if there is a version of the 1ghz I can put in (and where the heck can I find it?). Thanks.
 
Actually they did, although they are a bit rare.

You should be able to run the 1000/133 on your CUBX without too much trouble though, as long as your AGP card is OK with 89 Mhz (most are).

If you want to overclock, the 1000/100 is much better though.
 
1100 / 100 was also made.

You may want to consider modifying the socket to accept a Celeron (Tualatin 1-1.4 GHz) which is faster, cheaper, and cooler. Check out overclockers.
 
They made both 1.1GHz and 1GHz PIII Copermine's on the 100MHz FSB, their in distinctly low quanities though and were primarily OEM only products so you may have difficulty finding one.

A lot of the later cD0 stepping Coppermine's overclocked quite nicely too, so if you find a 1/1.1GHz PIII you should probably be able to o/c pretty well if you wish to.
 

well, it seems that a PIII isnt an option, since I would have to pay rare prices for a rare part. In any case, I want to run the system at a 100Mhz bus, can I buy a celeron 660 and oc it to 1 Ghz?

When did the celeron move to a 100 Mhz bus (I think it did during the P6 core days?)? Will the CUBX I have accept it? The asus site doesnt seem to have a bios update to accept new cores...
