Did I screw up?

I just bought This power supply to use on my Asus K8V SE Deluxe. And after I bought it I noticed that the power plug has the 20 pin and the 4 pin connector together in one unit.
Does anyone know if I will be able to use this power supply with this board?

Will the connectors separate?

it will still work, just stick it in, but if you're short pins, then don't use it, it might still run, but you're better off using

24-pin for 20 pin, k

24-pin for 24 pin, k

20 pin for a 24 pin = stupid

the 4 pins adapter tied to the main connector is NOT the one that plug int the 4 pins square connector. there should be another one with yellow and black wire.
