Did I screw up with iTunes?

I'm uploading all my CD's to my new HDD using iTunes... but I also have a non-Apple MP3 player I use for audiobooks and other stuff. Is there a way to convert iTunes-downloaded files back over to MP3 (I usually use MS Media Player...) or am I going to have to upload those files to MSMP to upload them to my MP3 players?

iTunes DRM free files can be played on most modern devices. Unless your MP3 players literally can only playback MP3s, you should be ok.

Most files purchased from iTunes are DRM free these days.
