Hello all, new here and this is my first post so plz be gental. Anyways.... I just bought a HP ZE4560US notebook computer..
2500+ athlon M
512 ddr 233
15" screen
dvd combo
40 gig hd
ATI 320 chipset
win xp home
wireless G

was at best buy for $1249 w/ $450 worth of rebates, it was also the last one they had so they took $100 off and gave me a $50 gift card (display model). I comes w/ full warrenty and it seems to have all the disk and papers that go w/ it. So you think I did ok? The only thing i and realy worried about it the virus I found when i got it home, nothing could get rid of it so i just reloaded xp and that did the trick but i think i might have lost the motherboard drivers :-(. Any help or commet would be most welcome. Thanks in advance ya'll have a happy new year.

Nice! I bought the exact same notebook from their online site this past weekend for $1199 w/ $350 in rebates (it now lists for $1299), so looks like you got a steal.

ztigger, how'd you get $450 in rebates (just wondering if I'd be eligible for that as well!).

If possible and if you don't already have it, get the 3 year extended warranty. You will be glad you did. 😀

good luck getting your Mail in rebates back after they marked down the laptop. if you are able to get them back that's a hell of a deal though.

Why wouldn't he? As long as he has all the receiptes and UPC's he should be fine.
