I remember reading a while back that SBC refused to give out its customer's info when requested by RIAA. did i remember correctly?

i've actually had very good experience during the one year that i was with SBC. Now my contract is over and they are charging me $50 a month unless i sign up with another year at $27-30 a month. My other alternative is Sonic.net at $21.95 a month. If i prepay a year, then i get 10% off making it $20 a month. i'm just trying to decide if its worth the extra to go with a big company.

I, however am stuck with SBC for awhile.

I feelfor you but like you i am stuck too and have no other alternative. No satellite, No BPL, and cable is 57.00 a month. service is mediocre at best :(
Their billing department can use some cleaning up thought, too many errors. Cost me more of my time then theirs to get it fixed, and often they will not admit any mistake unless you called numberous times and they got tired of it.
