extraordinary . . .
. . . and make sure you get the fan made texture, hi res packs and mods that make it play more like the first two while improving the gfx.

Speaking of Thief . . . there is an awesome and FREE 9-level expansion for Thief 2. . . what is even more unbelievable it that it is so GOOD you can NOT tell it is "fan made". Well worth the free D/L [you must have the Thief2 full game to play].

Have you played PK's expansion BoOH?

Max Payne: FoMP and DeuSex:IW are from '03 and well worth playing.

Serious Sam2 is "fair" and worth it if you like the first two installments.

Finally, TRY a RPG . . . KoTOR is probably one of the few a hard-core FPSer can come to love.

And i and i am absolutely HOOKED on Oblivion . . . which totally plays like an action FPS in a huge and richly detailed enviroment with the best gfx and environment of ANY game, so far. . .

the 'difference' is that you have to stop and "talk" to characters to get what to do next and lots of choosing what your character likes to specialize in.

 
I liked medal of honor PA for some reason , didn't like the 1st call of duty but loved the expansion pack 🙂 Halo has a great story line if you don't skip any of the cut secen which people have done by mistake in pc version but xbox version of halo is better. Farcry Instinct another good fps but again on xbox 🙁 .

GOD 🙁 I play to many games now that i think about... With all PS2/XBOX/GC/DS/GBA/PSP/PS1/N64/NES/SNES/Dreamcast/XBOX 360 🙁 i own to many console / games ;*(

I can go with RPG , RTS and other greats games but these are all good FPS you have missed me think

Ohh : play freelance 😉 awesome sim space game , its my all time fav game

Theif 3 isn't a FPS but a Fantasy Action Adventure game 🙂 lol
