did i miss a holiday?

some people in the neighborhood behind mine were setting off tons of fireworks earlier... for like an hour straight. then they took a 30 min break, but now they're shooting them off again! is today a big holiday that nobody told me about?😕

It doesnt work everywhere. Apparently you have to actually be at Mardi Gras. 🙁
