Did I mess up my tv?

Ever since I got a hdtv receiver a couple months ago, the pillar boxes on my tv have never been straight (they have a curve on them). This only occurs when I am watching tv with my samsung SIR-TS360. When I watch DVD's I don't have the problem(both hdtv and dvd player component cables are switched on my audio receiver). I have hooked up other samsung and hughes hdtv receivers and I have the same problem. Is this a burn in problem? BTW I have a samsung 26" TV (don't have model # right now).

Its not burn in sounds like a geometry problem maybe the receiver doesn't have the BW for HD. Try skipping the receiver, and going straight from the box to the tv
