I have an Asus M5A97 mobo. My Antec TPII-380 TruePower PSU finally gave up on me and I replaced it with an Antec Neo Eco 520. My setup is a LOT louder than it used to be. It whines and the fans seem to run faster than before. My old Antec had a power plug marked especially for the fan. And there's no fan sensor connector on the new unit.

Did I make a mistake in my purchase or is there something in the install I may have missed? If I need a different PSU, can you suggest a quality unit that will do the job at a good price?
 
Have you tried setting the fan speeds in the bios? I presume you've connected your fans to the motherboard now.
