My monitor was ordered by a local computer store and should be here on wednesday I was told. I guess its too late to cancel it but I was reading some reviews about this monitor and its mixed indeed:(

Anybody have this monitor and find any probs?

I have heard it sucks for text and so on. But maybe that can be a combination of refresh rates, video cards, resolution and other factors.

Anyone would like to comment?

My monitor, the NEC991SB also had mixed reviews, also dealing primarily with the text quality. But personally, I don't see any problem with the text at all, the colors are fantastic, brightness is steady (a major gripe with a lot of monitors I've used in the past). I think any aperture grill monitor is a safe bet. Go to CNET, look up a review of your monitor. Like mine, the CNET review may not be very high, but users may have an entirely different opinion about it.

I got that monitor... returned it... it was fuzzy a little left of the middle at high resolution, my g/f has this monitor and it has the same problem, but she doesnt notice it. I also disliked the colors, they arent as vivid as some other monitors. The greyscale was its worst quality IMO. I got a Sony G410 instead which is great.

Dude P95F+ is a very very good choice, it is clear and sharp. You wont notice a thing from other monitors that are suppose to be better. This is a hella good monitor for its price. Dont worry about reviews people always cry about something

Well I can't afford a Sony and they are way overpriced in my opinion!!

I will give this monitor a shot.

Im not saying get the Sony, but I would look for a few things when you get your viewsonic... first thing I noticed.. when using the ulta bright setting it made things VERY blurry, some text I couldnt even read! Also at 85Hz refresh a little left of the center it was blurry. Id also look at the greyscale... I found it very poor. So all Im saying is check it out when you get it.

WTF does a link to a review of an LCD have to do with the topic?

I wouldn't worry about your choice. The Viewsonic P-series are as good as any overall.

Of course I would say that since I'm staring at a P220f right now! ;)
