Did I lead my friend astray?

I just convinced my friend to get this combo instead of an ECS + a64 3200 for $220. I figured the extra price was worth it for this amazing board. I haven't been keeping up with current prices, though, and I am not sure if I just led him to a good or horrible price? What do you guys think?

Newegg says that's a good price. You beat them by about $20.
