Did I kill my motherboard wifi adapter?

Testing out some overclocks on an Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe. It's been running fine for a couple of days, with the wifi module it's been connected to my router at pretty much full strength.

This morning I let the Asus application run it's "auto overclock" which took my 2600K up to over 5ghz. Ran it like this for a few minutes, then it locked up and reboot. No problems, that's what the software is supposed to do.

However, after getting back into Windows I no longer have signal strength on my wifi module. It sees my router just fine, but won't connect and has zero bars.

Every other device in my house shows full strength.

When I plug in a different router it will see it also, but with zero bars. If I put the router right on top of the computer, it will then show several bars.

It's almost like the overclock fried the antenna or something.

Any thoughts?
 
I never see something like that before.But When I OC my 3770K with BUS,USB slots and controller can get crazy or stop working.
Did you Overclocked with BUS?

Yeah, I've seen that before with fsb overclocking... ports going crazy and not working.

In this case, I just used the multiplier, nothing else.

I am not familiar with that utility, but what all does it overclock? Just the multiplier, or voltages and FSB numbers as well.

Correct... well, as far as I can tell anyways. It just runs the multi, the voltage and the fsb up until it loses stability.

It's pretty aggressive. It took my 2600K up to over 5ghz, settling in on 4.97ghz before telling me "congratulations!" lol

It's just so odd, I mean, the module appears to working correct, it's simply the connection to the antenna is toast. Well, as best as I can figure. Like I said, it'll see routers when they're sitting right on top of the computer, but move it at all away and it loses signal strength. :/
