Did I kill my mobo AND power supply in one move?

Hello,

I just recently built a computer based on the EpoX 8k5a3+ and it worked fine for a couple days. I may have fried both my Enermax power supply and mobo, however, when I attempted to get the case LCDs to work 😱. Please see the whole, sad story in the tech support section here.

I would really appreciate any insight or suggestions that anyone may have about what I did.

Thanks in advance.

PS - Sorry if this is poor form to refer to my other post like this, but I noticed that the tech support section doesn't get much traffic and I felt it would be even worse etiquette to cross-post.

This might not be your problem, but my motherboard would not turn on(the fans kinda turned a little then stopped). I also thought I had fried my mobo. Then i turned the Floppy Power connector the other way around and it worked fine. I had it upside down. Could be your problem/might not be. Sorry I don't know.
