Hi,
I got a 1800 XP running on a k7s5a motherboard, 128 + 512 crucial 2100 ddr ram. I got bored and flashed my motherboard with the overclockers bios. I was playing with trying to up the fsb to get some extra power out of my cpu. Now my ATI card can't do any 3d graphics. I used to be able to run 3dmark03 and have it get thru test and if the fsb was too high it'd fail. But now when i run 3dmark03, it starts getting screen glitches during the loading screen of test one. then it just locks up.

any insight would be appreciated.

Overclocking with that mobo is pretty much a waste of time. I use one too.

When you o/c the fsb, you do the same to the pci and agp as well.

Your AIW also is not noted for good overclocks.

Set your fsb back to 133. Download and install latest SIS drivers. Then uninstall and re-install ATI drivers.

Thanks for all your help,

I took out the aiw 8500 and put in the regular aiw radeon and everything worked. Then i put the aiw 8500 back in, it detected it and dxdiag and 3dmark worked again. I guess it was driver problem. I got 3dmark03 loop till tommorrow. If it crashes, it goin back to compusa.
