Left my charger at home and tried to charge the battery with another photog's charger - he claimed his was near-universal, as you could adjust the distance between electrodes, so that they'd touch any battery in the right spot to charge. Long story short, now the cam displays a red light when the battery is inserted. Fml.
Did I kill it or just drain it? Won't have my charger back for a while to test if it still works, so I'm not sure if I should just buy a new battery right now.
