Hmm ok yes fitted sheets is the term I've heard. To me a sheet is the one that goes over you when you sleep, before the heavier blankets. The fitted sheets, or what I'm calling mattress cover, is what you sleep ON.

The fitted sheet goes over the mattress pad...or, the mattress pad (which also has elastic fitments) goes between the mattress and the bottom/fitted sheet.

Sweet lol. Yup that's what I was imagining. Only I've never heard of a mattress pad till today.

I'd prefer to have a mattress and pillow chiller.

Pillow chiller...great idea.
One of our little dogs steals my pillow if I'm not there...and even when I am... if he can get me to move while I'm asleep...the little bastard really heats it up.

Motherfucker. So simple, so beautiful. Thing probably doesn't work for shit, though.

Not sure how well it works, but they make a little fan that blows air in between your sheets.

Then there is this device from Japan. It keeps a fresh layer of air between you and your mattress, so you don't heat up the spot under you. Kind of expensive though.

I would think your average person would be far to heavy for either of those to work. It takes a LOT of pressure to force air under a 150+lb object!

Don't know about the second one.

The first one doesn't lift you up. It simply blows air in between your sheets.

Maybe. It depends on the design of the "mattress" section. But yeah it's got a lot more potential.

"You get two sheets. Every Saturday, you put the clean sheet on the top... the top sheet on the bottom... and the bottom sheet you turn in to the laundry boy. Any man turns in the wrong sheet spends a night in the box."

Bleach will eat away at fabric, you may be fucked.

Do a test to see what I mean. Get an old t-shirt and spray it on like you did to your mattress, let it dry completely and then try to stretch the shirt. If all works well (which is really wrong) the shirt will have lost it's elasticity and will pull apart.

Unfortunately I learned this by doing it myself back when I was probably your age, and now you have too. Think of it as a manly right of passage.

(BTW, what exactly was this "stain"..or do I even want to know? D: )
