Is the higher Cas Latency better or worse?

lower CAS = better

since you will be doin overclocking the 2.5 CAS would be a lot better than the mediocre 3...

its "slower" but you wont ever notice a difference. and im willing to put money on the fact that it would run cas 2.5 anyway

I would agree. My CL3 Kingston runs CL2.5 fine.

If you need to run the RAM on a divider to get tighter timings, do it. 939 Athlon 64s aren't starved for bandwidth at all.
