I have such a hard time wrapping my head around hate-centered ideologies like Nazism, racism, misogyny, etc. For some people, I think it's due to a mental illness, and for others, it's just pure hate, but for others still, I think upbringing has a lot to do with it. One of the coolest stories I've ever read is about Daryl Davis, a black guy, who convinced over 200 practicing KKK members to retire from their hate group:

Well, like the KKK conversion story above, it makes me wonder how many people are handed down these belief systems from their family & their environments, and never think to question them because they're so emotionally engrained in their psyches, you know? It just boggles my mind that fully-grown adults feel the need to go out & show everyone how mad they are lol.

I do think it's worth thinking about tho, because now we have to deal with Nazis in public spaces, who are apparently allowed to legally protest using hate speech? Per Wikipedia:

Have you ever seen the movie Megamind? I thought that was a pretty good story showing what eventually happens when the bad guy takes over. Like if Nazis took over the world, then what? All of the goodness & creativity in life comes from a diverse pool of human resources! In the movie, Megamind is basically a Lex Luthor type of bad guy with superpowers, who "kills" their version of Superman & takes over the city...then gets super bored. That was always my question watching stuff like GI-Joe growing up...what happens when the bad guy wins & everyone is their slaves? Then what? What do they DO all day? No more things to conquer, no more people to enslave, kinda pointless!

The problem is, based on history, stuff like this tends to snowball:
