Ok here is the story:
i just bought a Abit AN8 ULTRA motherboard.
When i got to analayse the physical layout better i had a surprise.
On the PCB there is printed with PAINT the name "ABIT" followed by a sticker that says AN8 ULTRA on it.
i removed the sticker and to my surprise it reveald JUST the word AN8 (not followed bye ULTRA) also written with paint on the pcb.
wtf? i wanted AN8 ULTRA not AN8, it has Q-OTES but i think rev 2.0 of AN8 has also Q-OTES.
i don't have a CPU right now to see if it is acutally an ULTRA (nforce 4 ultra) board
Is abit usinge the same PCB for the ULTRA boards and just use a sticker with AN8 ULTRA on it and sell it as ULTRA?
any comments on this?
sorry for my bad english

Maybe someone replaced your board with another one and put the sticker on it. You can go to Newegg and check out the pictures and compare it to the one you have and see if the cheips, etc look the same.

Sounds very fishy. Think about what nforce4 Ultra has that nForce4 doesn't:
-ActiveArmor/Firewall
-SataII support.

Check to see if your board has SATA II ports.

Also, when doing a comparison at Newegg, I found this:
"AN8 Ultra: Audio Ports - 6 jacks"
"AN8: Audio Ports - 5 jacks"

Might want to check that as well.
