I payed for a Jack Lalanne Power Juicer on 6/15 and by now it hasn't arrived yet. I got curious so I checked the seller's info. Lo and behold he is not a registered user anymore. I knew I should have been more careful but hindsight is 20/20.

I don't think his Ebay name and Paypal account are the same, although I do have proof that I paid using paypal and all that stuff.

Right after I paid I was sent a confirmation of payment and that he will ship soon. Also, I checked on Paypal and the member is a Verified Business Member (new). Should I file a fraud complaint to paypal immediately or wait a day or so?

Also, I paid with a credit card so what are the chances I will get my money back if this turns out to be fraud?

Ebay will end an account for various reasons. Forget to update email or phone number, etc.

See if you can still get his contact info and give him a call, if the number is correct. If you paid by credit card, you are most likely covered if he scammed you.

I have another question. Should I dispute the charges through my credit card company, paypal, or the ebay fraud protection program (in which I lose $25 + $20shipping payments)?

Anyone of you done this before can give me some help it would be much appreciated.
