Ok...I had posted earlier and got great feedback on how to spend the 1000 or so bucks to upgrade my current system.

Anyway, I went with:

P4 2.53
Gigabyte HiXP motherboard
OCZ Extreme Performance RDRAM 1066 Memory - 256MB x 2
Radeon 9700 Pro

My current system, being an AMD 1 gighz has 640 megs of ram...I think 100 speed? Anyway, I'm mostly hoping I did all right with only getting 512 of the rambus... Some guy in a chat room told me I was a dolt for going to the rambus...when I get more cash, I figure I can upgrade the ram some more.

If I were you I'd either cancel your order or return that OCZ crap. Search the forums for all the OCZ horror stories. They are a rip off company. :disgust:

Buy RAM from a real company, either Crucial/Mushkin/Corsair/Samsung.
 
Yeah well good luck getting Genuine Samsung, at least here in Canada. It's all Samsung chips though, but OEM PCB!
