So I waited till the Ryzen 2400G hit $99 and I'm really psyched for a much needed upgrade. Didn't see any reason to spend another $50 for the 3400G.

I bought this mobo: https://www.newegg.com/msi-b450m-pro-m2/p/N82E16813144198?Item=N82E16813144198

This ram: https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-8gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820231962?Item=N82E16820231962

Think I'm ok, just the "Intel platform" on the memory threw me off.

Upgrading from AM1 2.05ghz Kabini quad 25w so should see a huge increase in speed and graphics.

Thanks guys!

I guess I should mention I'm not a gamer or overclocker. I also checked MSI memory compatability chart and it doesn't list any 4gb modules at all.

Thanks, but the site is worthless, they don't even list the B450 chipset let alone my mobo. o_O

As I already mentioned at least twice now, I checked that page first, there are no 4gb modules listed.

Whatever. I first gave you a link to G Skill's site where you claimed they were "worthless", and didn't have any B450 motherboards listed at all (which I showed they did). Now you claim MSI's site doesn't have any 4GB modules listed. Many times the 4GB modules are listed in larger kits as most people aren't looking for smaller kits anymore.

Next time figure it out yourself, as I won't waste any more time in your threads in the future. Like the other user already pointed out, you already bought it, so you will know soon enough. I swear some users are just act so self-entitled (and rude) asking people to give them free help.

....and I was right, your not looking under the right pages.

There are NO B450 listed under MSI on the QVL page for my memory, I even posted the link. Here I'll post it again because apparently it escaped you the first time.

http://www.gskill.com/qvl/165/186/1535963722/F4-2400C15D-8GNT-Qvl

Also, here, go to MSI, B450, then the model of my mobo. THERE ARE NO 4GB MODULES LISTED.

http://www.gskill.com/configurator?page=1&cls=1529635169&model=1531979929

Also on MSI website, there are no 2400 mhz Gskill 4GB modules listed for Raven Ridge cpu's.
Here let me help you with that too.

I'm happy your done with me. You sounded like a immature little kid from the start, I mean what adult starts a post with "whatever"? All you did was clog up my thread.

And yes I was asking for free help....that's what this site is for....not sure if you knew that....maybe you do now.....was I supposed to pay you or something? Wow.

Grow up! Clearly you got attitude issues and I'm sure I'm not the first one to tell you!

Oh and for you adults that read my thread, everything is working just fine. Now off to find a forum for grownups!
