I just ordered a Dell Inspiron from Dell Outlet (REFURB!) . I was wondering if I paid the right amount.. It has XP Pro, Leather Case included.. 15" too and 256 Ram (notice 2 128 Dimms) .. I really needed a laptop for school. Let me know if I scored a COLD/WARM/HOT deal . Thanks for the input.

Warm or mildly hot, hot would be around $850-$900 shipped including taxes.

Looks pretty loaded and it has some nice extras like XP Pro, 256MB RAM and 15.0" XGA display.

I would seriously consider contacting Dell and increasing the warranty to a 3 year mail-in, I think it's another $99 but well worth it.

Congrats!

Cool laptop for the price. I could find only a no-name 1.3 Celeron with same features/price.

They're fine, we have a refurbished Dell Dimension 4300 desktop which I just sold to a friend ... bought it as a refurb, it's worked great for the past year.

With laptops I'd be a little more concerned and would definitely upgrade to a 3 year mail-in (or onsite) warranty.
