Did I Break My RAM?

Just wanted to find out what people where thinking here. I've lately been having some stability issues with my PC.. I'm pretty sure it's RAM related.

I recently got annoyed with how loud the stock CPU was so I installed a Thermaltake SilentBooster (I think was the name). It's pretty big and it's alot closer to my RAM, but no danger of actually touching it.

I've also been running BitTorrent alot lately. Is is possible that I heated the RAM up.. stressed it out. And broke it? Just want to know what you think.

System Spec. Soyo Dragon KT333
RAM. 3 Sticks 256 Nanya
Proc. Athlon 1400

Alternating the 3 sticks in my computer and booting MemTest:

1 stick is very problematic, and sometimes won't boot the machine.. when it does I get several thousand errors.
1 stick seems to work OK for booting, but I get about 500 errors.
1 stick boots fine, I get some errors (4 or 5) but never on the first pass. I'm currently running my system on this stick so see how reliable it is.

You won't have broken it, but that memory is faulty, and it's time to change it. Before you do that however, it's worth checking that you're not running it over-spec; make sure the timings are set to SPD in the BIOS and then try Memtest again.
