Did hippies always dance like that?

I was at a concert the other night and there were a bunch of hippie type people practically flailing to the music. One girl in particular was swinging in circles and bobbing all around, getting WAY into the personal space of quite a few people. Now, if all the original hippies danced like these (and other hippies I've seen at street festivals and such), I don't understand how the people at the original Woodstock survived. Have these types always danced like that, or is it something fairly new?

Here ya go....

I went to see Phish this summer in Salt Lake City... Everyone was dancing like this guy. I just wasn't feeling the music the same way this dude was. :p

You know, I was sort of afraid of the new Repulican governor wouldn't pass S.B.131, a pill to lower mj possesion penalties.

But now I'm not. :D

damn straight

definately...I like to call this type of dancing "noodling." It can be seen at any Phish concert. These people should be shot in the kneecaps and left to bleed to death...perhaps this is a little harsh, let's just say I don't like them.

That's too bad, because they love you.

Heh, with a name like Burn it Down, I thought you would be a hippy. ;)
