Did Google change their search feature?

I just tried googling the name of an old school friend, in quotes of course. I googled it a few days ago and only got two hits - this time I got 5000. And the hits seemed to be not on the phrase of her name, but on pages that somewhere just contained both words. Did Google change something? And how would I do a phrase search now? I tried the Boolean AND and it didn't seem to work. Am I just ultra stupid tonight?

Hmmm... that's weird.

When I typed "Meredith Storz" into Google, I got just that one hit.

If I purposefully mispelled it and put in "Meridith Storz", it takes to a page and asks me "Did you mean: "Meredith Storz" ?

I click the link, and it takes me to a results page with 5100 hits.

EDIT: I just clicked "refresh" it it now says there are 0 pages that refer to Meredith Storz...

Wow, I'm sorry to say this but I just tested this out and the results sucked. First i tried with the quotes and got nothing, then I tried with out the quotes and the first link was a link was a porn site. I didnt click it but the description was enough to tell me its some smut. Google is going down.
