Did ESPN leave Bonds' name off their fantasy list on purpose?!?

Check out Line #7: ESPN's fantasy rankings . I wonder if they didn't pay him enough money like that video game so they couldn't use his name? I wonder if they did it to make fun of him? Either way I think it's pretty funny.

I believe he withdrew from the MLBPA group for licensing, so he gets to make his own deals now. So if ESPN contracted with MLBPA for their fantasy league, they would have to negotiate with Bonds separately.

On the other hand, I think that means for the deals he makes, he can't appear in uniform or use any MLB logos.

He isn't a part of the players association anymore, so he will be unavailable in fantasy games.

Same thing goes with Lavarr Arrington in the NFL.

Yeah, that is going to happen.

Especially when you are talking about fantasy baseball.

I just think it is incredibly cocky and arrogant to think that you are better than everyone else so you get to do your own deals and not work the players' association. ESPN should just put "Garry Ponds" or something for the same. I hope they can find a helmet big enough for his ENORMOUS HEAD this year.....on second thought I hope they can't.

i guess since he pulled out of the MLBPA.

He didn't pull out of the MLBPA he pulled out of their group licensing agreement.

Pulling out of the MLBPA would be a whole different thing.
There are still players in MLB that are not part of the MLBPA because of the
94 strike.
