Did Duke Nukem 4Ever come out yet?

The sad thing is, on their own forums, there's 10 people browsing the DNF forum, and only 1 browsing the Prey forum. DNF is still more popular than a game that's actually going to be released.

I like their Forum Rules and FAQ:

We had too few programmers early on. Some tech took too long to do. We switched engines. We started over a time or two. And a bunch of other stuff. Point is, we know it's late, and you know it's late. Let's stop talking about it, ok? There is no new way you can think of to tell us how long the game has taken - we've heard 'em all.

I seem to remember a forum post over there a year or two ago that actually solicited game ideas from the forum members... it was as if they had no idea where to take the game, even with all this time!

Pretty sad, really.

Yeah, I think either saw that one of they have them often. You had a bunch of kids talking about stupid stuff like how cool it would be to have Duke put a grenade in a stripper's mouth and watch her explode while saying "Talk about a blow job!" Or exploding a Pig Cop and roasting thier ribs over a campfire.

Let's hope the forums are just full or 12-year-olds, and are not being used as a source for game material. I'm still of the opinion that there is no game and it's just a social experiment to see how long with fanboys will stick around and defend DNF.

I think it would be funny if duke said something about/related to Chuck Norris every once and a while after using the mighty boot. Chuck Norris jokes have been popping up on a lot of message boards i've browsed around latley..like "all your base are belong to us" used to be like to the internet.

Objects of a reasonable size can be flushed down the toilet (ie. a shrunken enemy)

Afterwards, you shopuld be able to piss on him, before flushing..!

Whahaha..! Imagine this in multiplayer...

But you should also be able to sit down at a table and play some Texas holdem. Its important that you dont lose your First-Person control though, for example I like how Doom3 handled interaction with computers; you just point your mouse at them and click. Poker could be like that in DNF: point at your stack of chips and press space bar to bet/raise, point at table in front of you and press space bar to check, point at discard pile in middle of table to fold.
